If you have suspicions, consider some of the following questions, and be as impartial as possible.
At RPI we know that if you are reading this page, you may be struggling to cope at a very emotional time. Although we take a business-like approach to every case, we realize that for you things could be intensely personal. We deal with these situations regularly, so rest assured that our staff will be compassionate, understanding and helpful. We will do our utmost to help you maintain dignity and privacy during these difficult days.
HAVE YOU NOTICED ANY OF THE FOLLOWING?
- Sudden increase in time away from home
- Decreased/increased sexual interest in you
- Spouse is often distracted and day dreaming
- Spouse is often “unavailable” while at work
- Spouse attends new functions outside of work, usually without you
- Cell phone calls from you are unanswered and not returned in a timely fashion
- Spouse leaves house or goes to other rooms to talk on the phone
- Spouse uses computer alone and/or in secret
- Spouse inquires about your schedule more often than usual
- Spouse is more suspicious and accusatory regarding your activities
- Mileage on car is high yet spouse reports only short distance errands
- Clothes smell of perfume or cologne
- Spouse gets their laundry done independently
- Unexplained charges/payments on bank statements and/or credit cards
- Spouse has more cash on hand without accountability
- Cell phone bills contain calls with long duration and/or strange numbers
- Spouse has unexplained receipts in wallet or purse
- Spouse sets up new e-mail and/or cell phone accounts
